Campaign logger is a program to log your ttrpg campaigns. It puts stuff in pages and logs, so that it is easy to find what you are looking for. It can be run in a browser, on a phone or a desktop app. It is easy to open, but is it easy to use?
I have tried to insert the last adventure I ran. With npc’s and monsters. I have added maps and logs. So far it seems to work, but I am overdoing it as always. So, if I am going to use it I need to take a step back. I have been added to a friends campaign logger and I am going to look at how other use the tool.
It can be a bit overwhelming, because the options are so many. You can use labels and pages. Labels are the problems for many of us. Luckily I am working in Obsidian where tags, properties, labels and all the bad stuff are chuck together, so I see where it might go wrong. I add labels, and remove them again. If I am going to use campaign logger, I need to figure out how to use labels.
I wrote the first part of this post, after a couple of hours. Then I continued to figure it out, and I have to admit I paid for it. So I start a second campaign to see if it is still the correct thing for me. See you inn a month.
Rating: This seems to work fine with my brain.
